Prop-S will be the first time in over 28 years that the Lemay Fire Protection District has asked for additional revenue through a tax increase.
Revenue from Prop S. will provide secure funding for:
- Building maintenance
- equipment maintenance
- Communication equipment maintenance
- Technologically Advanced Lifesaving Equipment
- Insurance
- Public education
- Salaries
- Supplies for cleaning and maintenance
- Training/education for fire and rescue
- Training equipment
- Lifesaving firefighting gear
- utilities
- vehicle maintenance
- Gas & Diesel Fuel
